Melis Günay

Melis Günay is a doctoral researcher at the DFG research training group ‘Urban future-making: Professional agency across time and scale’ at HafenCity University Hamburg. Having completed two bachelor’s degrees, one in business administration and another in metropolitan culture, she graduated from the 4Cities Erasmus Mundus Master in Urban Studies programme. Melis’ doctoral project investigates negotiation processes between civil society and public actors in traffic experiments that test the redistribution of street space in order to reduce motorized private transport in German cities.
