Mathis Fricke

Mathis Fricke studied Mathematics and Physics at the HHU Düsseldorf and the Technical University of Darmstadt. He obtained his PhD from the Department of Mathematics at TU Darmstadt with distinction in 2020. Since 2021, he holds the position of a group leader in the Mathematical Modeling and Analysis group headed by Prof. Dr. Dieter Bothe. His main research interests are the mathematical modeling and numerical simulation of multiphase flows, in particular dynamic wetting processes. Since 2022, he is a Principal Investigator within the DFG Collaborative Research Center on Wetting and Transport.
