Marco Bohnhoff
Marco Bohnhoff is a geophysicist with a focus on studying earthquakes across scales. His research focusses on earthquake preparation processes and on the occurrence of earthquakes caused by human activities. He is leading the research group on ‘Geomechanics and Scientific Drilling' at the GFZ Potsdam, is a Professor for ‘Experimental and Borehole Seismology’ at the Free University Berlin, and serves as the Executive Director of the International Continental Scientific Drilling Program ICDP.
