Maltiti Mohammed

Maltiti Mohammed is an award-winning climate innovator working at the intersection of science and policy. He serves as Capacity Building and Education Lead at the Youth Climate Council Ghana, where he equips young people to engage in climate action and policy. His work focuses on bridging technical knowledge and practical solutions to advance inclusive and sustainable development. He is also a youth climate negotiator, actively contributing to international climate discussions.

Youth Climate Council Ghana equips young people with climate science knowledge and leadership skills to drive locally led solutions and influence policy. Through training, ecosystem restoration, innovation hubs, and policy dialogues, over 6,000 young people have become active climate leaders. The model has supported community initiatives, informed local decision-making, and has been successfully replicated across multiple countries as a scalable science-to-policy approach.
