Maike Trenkel-Lenz

Dr. Maike Trenkel-Lenz is a team lead at ZEISS SMT in research and development, responsible for optics simulations of lithography systems. She studied theoretical physics at the RWTH Aachen and UJF Grenoble, has a PhD in high-energy particle physics (Max Planck Institute for Physics, Munich), and spent two years as post-doc in Madison, Wisconsin, US. 2012 Dr. Maike Trenkel-Lenz started in ZEISS SMT as systems engineer for optics simulations and in 2016 she became technical project lead for a optics component. Since 2018 Dr. Maike Trenkel-Lenz is leading a group of ~20 physicists, mathematicians, chemists, engineers and together they are pushing the limits of lithography technology.
