Lora Viola

Lora Anne Viola (PhD University of Chicago) is Professor of Political Science at the Freie Universität Berlin. She researches international organizations, global governance, and US foreign policy and is a frequent commentator on American politics. Her book The Closure of the International System (Cambridge University Press, 2020) received the Hedley Bull Prize, the Chadwick Alger Best Book Award, the Diplomatic Studies Best Book Award, the Jervis Schroeder Honorable Mention Award.
