Karin Guendel Gonzales

Karin Guendel Gonzalez was born in 1976 in Groß Strehlitz, Poland. She began her career at Bayer in 1996 with a commercial apprenticeship. In parallel with her later professional assignment in the USA, she pursued her studies in business administration.

From 1999 to 2004, Guendel Gonzalez took on responsibilities in the Europe and International region. Subsequently, she obatined the role of Business Development Manager for Mexico, the Andean countries, and Central America from the Raleigh office in the USA. From 2006 to 2011, Guendel Gonzalez was responsible for the global positioning of several fungicidal active ingredients. With an expanding scope of responsibilities, Guendel Gonzalez led global teams at the Monheim site from 2011 to 2020, overseeing active substance development projects in the Research and Development (R&D) sector and as Head of Regulatory Affairs. Among her achievements was the restructuring of global R&D activities for the Crop Science division in 2015, following the acquisition of Monsanto. In 2020, Guendel Gonzalez moved to the global Corporate Strategy department.

As of March 1, 2023, Karin Guendel Gonzalez obtained the role of Managing Director of Bayer CropScience Deutschland GmbH.

Karin Guendel Gonzalez is married and the mother of four children.
