Isabella Rodrigues
Isabella Rodrigues is a PhD student in Mechanical Engineering at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). She was a Visiting Researcher at Harvard Medical School after winning the Fulbright Doctoral Dissertation Research Award (2021-2022). Isabella received her MSc degree in Production and Manufacturing Engineering in 2020 from the State University of Campinas and her BS degree in Bioprocess Engineering in 2018 from the Federal University of Itajuba, Brazil. Isabella’s research experiences include bioreactors, polymers, biomaterials, 3D bioprinting, medical devices, and tissue engineering. Her current research interests also include additive manufacturing, nanomaterials, and bone regeneration. Isabella now wants innovate through science and entrepreneurship and recently won first place at Falling Walls Lab Brazil with her pitch on ‘Breaking the Wall of Vascular Grafts.’
