ecoLocked is turning buildings into carbon sinks! They convert captured carbon from locally sourced biomass residues into functional, carbon-negative building materials. 

Their products enable the construction industry to take climate action right now and make up for residual and historical upstream emissions while maintaining high product quality. ecoLocked's initial focus is on concrete, the world's second-most used material responsible for nearly 8% of annual global emissions. Their first product eLM Zero, an admix material to produce 100% climate-neutral concrete, is selling across the DACH region with plans to expand in the rest of Europe. They have also developed a data-driven product platform to create a portfolio of additives and admix materials that cater to the intricacies of concrete production and the diversity of applications while using locally available feedstocks. 

Their goal: catalyze carbon removal on a global scale and enable a cumulative total CO2 impact of more than 1Gt by 2040!
