Annabella Hüftler-Fick

Annabella Hüflter Fick studied Cultural Studies of English-Speaking Countries, American Studies, and European Ethnology at the University of Würzburg and the Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece, earning her Magister degree in 2009. From 2010 to 2013, she worked as a research associate at the Chair of American Studies at the University of Würzburg. In 2013, she was awarded a doctoral scholarship by the Cusanuswerk, which supported her until 2015. That same year, she completed her PhD in American Studies at the University of Würzburg.
Following her doctorate, she took on the role of advisor for academic funding and head of student selection at music universities within the Cusanuswerk, where she worked from 2015 to 2018. Since 2018, she has been serving as the program manager for the "Change! Fellowships" funding program at the Volkswagen Foundation.She is married and has one child. 

Annabella Hüflter Fick will be a participant at the Female Science Talents International Fall Gathering 2025.
