Anna Lührmann

Dr. Anna Lührmann serves as Minister of State for Europe and Climate at the Federal Foreign Office since December 2021. As a Member of Parliament she represents the Rheingau-Taunus – Limburg constituency. She brings extensive political and international experience. A climate advocate since her youth, she became the Bundestag's youngest member at 19. With degrees in political science and peace studies, she also worked in academia before her current role. She champions European unity for effective climate action and global crisis solutions.
