Andrzej Żak

Andrzej Żak is an assistant professor at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. He defended his PhD in 2019 in mechanical engineering, but he devoted his work mainly to the development of electron microscopy methods. He is the author of nearly 50 works, cited 350 times. His projects combine the construction of laboratory devices, materials science, and microbiology. At the same time, he develops imaging methods for nanomaterials, protein complexes, and geological samples. His long-term idea is to create a universal microscopy laboratory, beyond the countable scientific disciplines.
