In honour of Earth Day and Citizen Science Month, Falling Walls Engage and Hannover Re Foundation are joining forces to host a panel discussion exploring how Science Engagement can help restore biodiversity and which practices we can learn from each other to make a real difference. Inspired by the Science Breakthrough of the Year 2024 in the category Science Engagement, this panel focuses on ocean health innovation, climate resilience, and marine restoration.

About this Event: 

With this online event, we want to inspire science engagement practitioners by bringing them together, sharing case studies as well as methods and tools to learn from each other. 

Falling Walls Engage and its hubs are committed to advancing climate change adaptation solutions through innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration. This online panel will raise awareness of the topic by bringing together multiple perspectives, from marine research, to policy-making, sustainable development, and practical solutions. Experts and practitioners from various fields will share insights and strategies to foster innovation, helping participants develop a deeper understanding of adaptation challenges and opportunities for a more sustainable future.
