Christoph Lotz managed the development of a novel facility for micro- and partial gravity research on earth, the Einstein-Elevator. This worldwide unique next generation drop tower generates a major impact to the community in various research disciplines. It enables research under space conditions and the development of space proven technologies. He works as a research associate at the Leibniz University Hannover (LUH), Germany (PhD is expected at the end of 2021). Now he has started to build up his own research group. Christoph received his mechanical engineering diploma from the LUH.
