Marius Wiggert is an award-winning Robotics and AI Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley. He focuses on applications to tackle climate change across system biology, ocean and agricultural robots, and human-robot interaction. Marius started and now leads the joint project of Berkeley and MIT on “Navigating Seaweed Growth Platforms by Leveraging Ocean Currents and Machine Learning” and is working with the Start-Up Phykos to make gigaton-scale carbon removal with seaweed happen. When not in the lab, he coordinates activities at Climate Change AI and as Global Shaper of the WEF.
