In radiology, how can we reduce the entrance surface dose while keeping the obtained image acceptability for routine radiographic examinations to improve diagnosis quality? Hamza Sekkat uses a phantom and solid-state detector/multisensor to optimize the radiation dose and image quality by selecting image parameters that give an acceptable one with the lowest dose delivered to the patient.

Hamza Sekkat is a recent graduate of the Medical Dosimetry Bachelor’s degree program at the Faculty of Sciences, Mohammed V University of Rabat and a first year Master’s degree student of Medical Physics.
