Dr Jiao Jiao Li is a biomedical engineer, Lecturer/National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Early Career Fellow at University of Technology Sydney, Honorary Associate at University of Sydney, a chief investigator on the Australian Research Council (ARC) Training Centre for Innovative BioEngineering, and a Science & Technology Australia 2021-22 Superstar of STEM. She is researching regenerative approaches to treat chronic musculoskeletal diseases such as osteoarthritis and bone loss, with particular interest in developing novel stem cell-based therapeutics and bioactive materials.
