Water is a clean source of energy that be used as a fuel for a hydrogen-powered, self-manufacturing hydrogen-cell car that does not need expensive hydrogen fuel stations.
A BSc student at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Muscat, Boutaina Boujrada is studying engineering and intends to major in Biomedical Engineering. About two years ago, she began researching the field of renewable energy, especially hydrogen fuel. From here, she had the idea to invent a water-fueled car and use clean energy to save the earth. She loves all kinds of science, especially astronomy and has previously participated in other competitions, the latest of which was the ‘Minute Makes a Difference‘ competition in the first local youth climate conference in Muscat LCOY2022 in which she came in first place. She was also awarded first place in the National Water Day Awareness Competition in 2021, and is currently a participant in the INJAZ Oman Corporate Competition Student with a sustainable product. Boutaina wishes to make a real difference in the world.
