To remove heavy metals from produced wastewater, Praise Eromosele proposes using sawdust, a natural adsorbent from wood factories, in place of the more expensive methods, ultimately creating a sawdust “cycle”.

Praise Eromosele obtained her Bachelor’s degree from KNRTU, Russia and is currently a graduate student of Chemical Engineering at KAUST, Saudi Arabia. She enjoys solving problems and is passionate about finding sustainable and cost-effective ways to treat wastewater. She specialises in membrane separation of gases and liquids.
