Living Maths initiated our annual Space Tour in 2017. We bring an astronaut to South Africa and we visit schools, science centres and offer public talks. We conduct interviews on TV, Radio and in the press. The aim is to spread the excitement of stem and encourage engagement with a scientist like an astronaut. We successfully physically interacted with 15 000 people on our first tour (excluding the reach on social media, TV and radio). Our 2020 tour has been put on hold due to Covid-19.
