We offer our knowledge and content worldwide under an open license and are a think tank for modern mathematics communication. We have inspired millions of visitors in more than 60 countries with our exhibits ever since.

IMAGINARY

Andreas Matt (1975, Innsbruck) is director of IMAGINARY, a non-profit organization for the communication of current research in mathematics based in Berlin and operating worldwide. He has a Ph.D. in Mathematics of Machine Learning and has worked from 2007 until 2016 for the Mathematisches Forschungsinstitut Oberwolfach, a Leibniz Institute, where he co-initiated IMAGINARY. In 2013, he received the Media Award of the German Society of Mathematics for his achievement in communicating mathematics.
