Streaming is exploding – over 3 billion streams occur every day in the US alone. But how can service provider make sure to keep track of all this data and pay the proper royalties? Currently, billions of dollars are getting lost and lawsuits are roiling the music industry. In case of doubt Music right holders call an auditing company. But while music was digitalized, the proper auditing was not – yet. We developed and patented a machine learning method to audit streaming revenues. With data from music right holders we learn the individual fingerprint of their song and detect anomalies and fraud. We are super fast – we analyze 3 billion streams in less than 5 minutes and super precise – we work 275% more accurately than existing methods.
