My project concerns the application of VLP to a broader context. Many technical solutions exists, but they are not practical. I want to improve robustness, and make large installations possible.

Breaking the Wall of Lost Robots
Robin Amsters obtained his Masters in Engineering Technology from KU Leuven in 2016. In October 2016, he started his PhD in engineering technology at KU Leuven, as a part of the Intelligent Mobile Platforms Research group (IMP). The IMP group is a multi-disciplinary research group with a focus on the intelligent design and control of mobile platforms of the future. In 2017, Robin was awarded a strategic basic research grant by Flanders Research Foundation (FWO). His research interests include mobile robotics, localization, visible light communication and sensor fusion.
