Sarah Nyamita and Janorw are addressing the issue of financial exclusion in Uganda by providing mobile-based loans and financial services to the unbanked population, which constitutes over 70% of the total population. Her inclusive approach aims to bridge the gap and offer much-needed financial solutions to those who need it the most.

Breaking the Wall of Financial Exclusion
Sarah Nyamita is a finance professional with a BS in accounting and finance and a CPA certification. She is currently the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Janorw Financial Services, a small money lending venture within the local community. Her journey in the financial sector began at SASCO, where she served as an assistant accountant. She then gained valuable experience at Solarnow and ZIWA RHIONS AND WILDLIFE RANCH, where she worked as an accountant and manager. Inspired by her mother’s struggle to borrow money for her education, Sarah had a vision to make a positive impact on the financial industry.
