Breaking the Wall of Exciplex
Emily Hsue-Chi Shi is a chemistry senior at National Taiwan University with a double major in finance. Mentored by Professor Pi Tai Chou, Emily’s research delves into the excited state behaviour of organometallic complexes, with her works recently published in ACS AMI and Nature Chemistry. Through her internship with Merck’s liquid crystal team, she aspires to blend her scientific knowledge with industry insights. As she looks forward to pursuing a PhD in chemistry, Emily is excited to continue her journey of unraveling the mysteries of the natural world and pushing the boundaries of scientific exploration.
