The research product, Tempe-CholPlast, a tempeh-based health drink, has shown effectiveness in reducing LDL and serves as a preventive solution for cholesterol among the younger population.

Anisha Ayuning Tryas is a graduate student at the Food Science Department of IPB University. She is currently working in Prof. Astawan’s Lab for Tempe Research Product in Indonesia, which focuses on functional food, metabolomic studies, and biochemistry.
