Sofía Ulloa Arias
Sofía Ulloa Arias is a biotechnology engineer graduate from the Costa Rica Institute of Technology. She then earned a Master’s degree in biomedical research from the University of Navarra, focusing on viral treatments against cancer. Since 2018, Sofía has been immersed in the world of data analysis within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Her expertise lies in assembling compelling visualisations to interpret complex results. She created Dateando con Sofía, a Facebook and Instagram profile disseminating resources in Spanish on data analytics and valuable tools in the area. Sofía founded Grybas, a company that produces innovative biomaterials using the fungi mycelium.
