Tarek was awarded the second place for his research on artificial intelligence, titled “Breaking the Wall of Computational Creativity”. He works on the development of supercomputers that are capable of composing music like star composers. Besold believes that computers have the ability to imitate human creativity with the means of mere primitive building blocks.
