Breaking the Wall of Acid Mine Drainage
Douglas Remhunga is a chemical engineer who works in the mining sector in Zimbabwe. He is passionate about the environment and circular economies and uses science and innovation to solve real-world problems. Douglas has partnered with the Harare Institute of Technology on various projects that tackle environmental and social issues in his country. He has also developed a novel method of using waste materials to produce a useful chemical that can benefit many industries and communities.
