We are a non-profit, independent, creative digital science communication platform. We create social network based content that is entertaining, rigorous and informative. Our work focuses on making interesting what is important, science. We like to think of Shots de Ciencia as a machine that takes in scientific papers or other main sources and “distillates” them into, easy-to-drink, short, delicious and fun “shots” of knowledge. We make podcasts, videos, shows, articles, music, and more.

Esteban Pardo

Esteban Pardo is a passionate learner and loves creating. He has a B.Sc. in biology and a B.Sc. in microbiology from Universidad de Los Andes. Esteban is a musician, sound producer and video editor. As a scientist, he focused on bioinformatics and molecular biology. It fascinates him to research and to get to the bottom of matters, to find the answers, to find what is true and what isn’t. He has realized the importance of human behavior to be more empathic, to communicate better and to be self-critical.
