Breaking the Wall between Science and Poetry
Dr. Sam Illingworth is a Senior Lecturer in Science Communication at the University of Western Australia, where his research involves using poetry and games to develop dialogue between scientists and non-scientists. He is also the founder of Consilience, the world’s first peer-reviewed poetry journal, which aims to break down the walls between science and poetry. In doing so he hopes to create a space in which people can come together to explore the liminal spaces between these two disciplines and try to make sense of the world in which we live.
