Cindy Ow joined Prof. Vinay Tergaonkar’s lab in 2021 as a research officer under the IMCB, A*-STAR, Singapore. She received her Bachelor of Science from Johns Hopkins University, majoring in Molecular Cellular Biology and minoring in Music. She is working on detecting early diagnostic markers in biliary atresia using spatial transcriptomics with Dr. Matias Caldez. She has an enduring interest in including music in her professional work. Outside of work, she enjoys playing the viola with her friends in the local amateur symphony orchestra, going to indie music concerts and embroidering.
