Kyaw Zin
Kyaw Zin (George Zin) is the founder of Call Me Today, the first Myanmar mental health helpline since 2018. His friend’s suicide made Kyaw Zin create Call Me Today. Call Me Today has served over 900 clients via phoneline counselling with 15 volunteer counsellors and partnered with the Helvetas and People in Need for psychosocial counselling to blue-collar workers. He was the vice-president of AIESEC in Yangon and is serving on the U.S. Ambassador’s Youth Council in Myanmar. He believes that one day, mental health care services will be accessible to everyone.
