‘1001 Meals’ is an educational initiative implemented by 1001 Inventions in partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP).

In 2017 the project engaged 2,300 refugee children. Over the next 12-months the project will engage about 20,000 refugee children.TARGET GROUP
- Children aged between 7-14 years old with their teachers and families in Azraq and Zaatari camps in Jordan
- Young refugees recruited and trained to support the delivery of the educational programmes at the camps
- Women refugees, part of the WFP’s ‘Healthy Kitchens’, who contribute to preparing the meals to children delivered as part of the programme
