Cytocast is a Budapest-based startup company that revolutionizes personalized treatment by integrating bioinformatics databases with patient data into computer models to understand the effects and therapies on cellular functions.
Cytocast’s algorithm can simulate millions of molecular interactions happening inside the human cell and how therapies and diseases affects biological processes. Given the scale of the simulation, Cytocast can be used to identify the global effects of molecular perturbations providing a better understanding of a therapy as well as predicting new molecular targets for diseases.
With this information Cytocast aims to identify how different patients will reacts to personalized therapies and help to create tailored treatments. These results will provide health care professional a tool to better decide the best treatment of each patient as well as helping pharmaceutical companies to increase the amount of therapies gaining FDA approvals.
