Making Science The Star

Cameroon (Douala)

The film series “Science in the City” (Science dans la Cité) produced by Stephane Kenmoes approaches scientific topics through cinematic storytelling in 26 episodes. With a focus on timely scientific topics such as biomass, and renewable energies and AI, “Science in the City” depicts the common perception of science in Africa and the lack of scientific culture, but also on the triumph of innovative ideas. With his film series part of the initiative Making Science the Star, Kenmoe campaigns in African schools, universities, and public events to ignite conversations on science and scientific culture, inviting actors to engage with audiences.
