Australia’s Ambassador-Designate to Germany
Philip Green arrived in Berlin in October, and looks forward to presenting credentials to President Steinmeier soon. He has previously served as High Commissioner in Singapore, South Africa and Kenya. Most recently in Canberra, he was responsible for leading Australia’s Indo-Pacific strategy as well as relations with the United States, Canada and ASEAN. Earlier, Mr Green served as international adviser in the Prime Minister’s office. Mr Green was awarded the Order of Australia Medal in 2003 for his role in the response to the Bali terrorist tragedy.
