Lucas Pereira

Lucas Pereira is a geological engineer (Ouro Preto-BR) with masters degree in georesources engineering (Liège-BE, Nancy-FR, and Lulea-SWE), and ongoing doctoral research in particle-tracking – machine learning applied to understanding and predicting mineral separation processes in the scale of micrometer sized particles (Freiberg-DE). His current research work also comprises the development of a mineral processing route for rare earth elements as a by-product of ongoing mining operations.
