MDC has excellent structural stability and high catalyst activity.Comparing to conventional ozonation process, MDC/HCO process was 30% more effective for organic removal and 50% less energy intensive.

Lakshmi Jothinathan

National University of Singapore

Lakshmi Jothinathan is currently working as Research fellow in the CEE department, NUS. She obtained her PhD degree in Environmental Engineering and Science from NUS in May 2017. Lakshmi was supported by NUS Research scholarship to pursue her PhD degree at NUS. She has authored more than 15 international journal publications and 2 book chapters in the field of water treatment. Her field of expertise is mainly on the ozonation based AOP for water and wastewater treatment, catalyst development and kinetic modeling on organic degradation.
