University of Calgary

Dr. Alex Ramirez-Serrano is a professor at the University of Calgary, as well as founder of the Robotarium laboratory, where he develops aerial and humanoids robotics for disaster response and pediatric care. He is also founder of 4Front Robotics. His experience includes mechatronic engineer at ABB Corporate Research (Sweden), and research engineer at Argonne National Laboratory (USA). Ramierz-Serrano has received many prizes, such as the Excellence World Innovation and the ASTech award.
