Berlin, 30 October 2013. Though they come from São Paulo, Moscow, Los Angeles, London and many other parts of this world they have one thing in common: They all deal with the challenges society faces today and work on solutions to overcome them. Altogether 100 young bright minds from 36 nations were selected to travel to Berlin to showcase their ideas at the Falling Walls Lab on 8 November 2013. At the Lab, aspiring scientists, young professionals and entrepreneurs of diverse disciplines present their research work, business models or initiatives in 3 minutes each.
A renowned jury including amongst others, top representatives of Siemens, the Helmholtz Association, TUI, Volkswagen and Sanofi-Aventis reward the most innovative and intriguing ideas. Kearney (List of complete jury: www.falling-walls.com/lab/programme).
