Paul Foeckler joined Elsevier five and a half years ago with the acquisition of Mendeley, a company he co-founded together with Jan Reichelt and Victor Henning in 2008. Paul is part of the product management organisation of Research Products, mainly working on product integration projects and shared capabilities. Applying his entrepreneurial spirit and expertise, Paul also initiated and leads one of the most prominent digital transformation projects of the company, aiming to improve focus, alignment and employee engagement. Prior to founding Mendeley, where he was leading product management and product development efforts, Paul studied Computer Science and Media System Sciences in Germany. In 2017, Paul relocated from London to Berlin.
