Robotics and AI Trivia Night

Present Futures Forum, Technische Universität Berlin | Gerrit Rößler, Penelope Freund, Peter Remmers

Test your interdisciplinary robotics and AI knowledge, meet peers and make new friends at the "AI and Robotics Trivia Night"!

People have been fascinated with robots long before Star Wars and WALL:E. Even in ancient Greece, people dreamed of artificial workers who could replace the work of slaves and assistants. Long before it became technologically possible to build what is now called a “robot”, humans would imagine what they would look like and how they would behave.Nowadays, robotics can hardly be separated from artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. Just like robotics, AI research also promises the automation of work processes that go far beyond factory work. For example in the field of elderly and health care, where robotics may present a solution to the difficulties of demographic change.

The “Robotics and AI Trivia Night” format aims to enable networking, exchange and the transfer of knowledge. It is designed as a combination of entertaining educational films and presentations, as well as a quiz in which participants can compete in teams of up to six people. Questions range from technical to cultural, from easy to difficult. Your chances to win increase if you work well together.

If you are interested, please register here in advance. The Quiz will be conducted in english language.
