“RARE: stories of hope”
People living & working with rare diseases share true, personal stories. These stories connect us. Because we all have stories to tell.
People living & working with rare diseases find common ground with us all: human experience.
Patients and their families, care providers, researchers share true, personal stories about unusual struggles, unforeseen challenges, and the cracks of light, which give them hope. The result is sometimes funny, sometimes poignant, and always inspiring.
Storytellers are on stage at the Pfefferwerk Haus 13 while an online audience watches from around the world. As is THE BEAR’s tradition, these true personal stories are told without notes in English or German. Show host Dyane Neiman charms the audience to interact remotely and live music weaves the stories into an entertaining whole.
