Dimitri Coelho Mollo

Researcher, Philosophy of Mind

Dimitri Coelho Mollo’s main areas of research are Philosophy of Mind and Cognitive Science and Philosophy of Computing. He is also interested in Philosophy of Biology, General Philosophy of Science, and the ethics of current and future use of AI systems. His role at SCIoI is to shed light on the nature of intelligence and intelligent behavior by bringing together relevant empirical and theoretical insights from different fields, including philosophy, cognitive science, artificial intelligence, comparative psychology, and ethology.

Rainer Mühlhoff

Rainer Mühlhoff is a postdoctoral researcher in philosophy. He is a philosopher and mathematician by training, specializing in social philosophy, philosophy of technology, and critical theory of the digital society.

Lynn Schmittwilken

Science of Intelligence

Doctoral Researcher, Neurosciences

Lynn Schmittwilken obtained her B.Sc in Psychology and her M.Sc. Neurosciences at Bremen University with a main focus on mammal brain and mammal behavior with a main interest in the human brain. She received insights into the complexity and functionality of the central nervous system through her specialization in visual perception, which she researched using methods such as electrophysiology, psychophysics as well as computational modeling. She is currently investigating visual processing in humans.

Ingo Schulz-Schaeffer

Science of Intelligence

Professor, Sociology

Ingo Schulz-Schaeffer represents the discipline of sociology of technology and innovation. He has experience in research on the social shaping of technology with a special interest in the shaping of technological innovations by socio-technical scenarios and their prototypical realizations.
