The DroneMasters Meetups provide the leading global cross-industry network around vertical mobility and drones.

The DroneMasters Meetups are a series of events with a focus on drones and vertical mobility that has been bringing together relevant stakeholders from business, science, politics and society since 2015. Since then, more than 4,000 experts and enthusiasts from all industrial sectors have visited DroneMasters Meetups in Europe and North America, shared knowledge, gained inspiration, found business partners, developed projects and presented innovations to jointly promote the sustainable use of lower airspace. The focus of this meetup will be on education and science.

Founder & CEO

For more than 20 years Frank Wernecke has been working with a focus on digitization, sustainability and communication. At the age of 26, he founded his first company. He is a member of the research group Ethical-Ecological Rating at the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main, partner of the steering committee of TEDxBerlin and also a founding partner of the entrepreneur network katapult: NOW. In 2017, he was appointed to the steering committee of the UAV Advisory Board of the German Federal Ministry of Transport. Frank lives in Berlin, is married, father of three children and enjoys running marathons.
