Climate Change – How can research and data address society’s wicked problem?

Elsevier | Lewis Collins, Márcia Balisciano, Elizabeth Pollitzer

Our planet’s ecosystems and climate are experiencing unprecedented rates of change. The science tells us that we are not on track to limit an increase in average global temperatures and that our greenhouse gas emissions continue to rise. Like most of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Climate change is a wicked problem for which there is no one single solution. Action is needed. This panel will seek to discuss the role of research and data in helping to accelerate progress towards the SDGs and the importance of taking an integrated approach between universities, business and publishers.
