Building the sticky note of the web – Rethinking how we collaborate on digital content

Discover how a combination of artificial intelligence and human annotation can bring structure and clarity into your online life.

We send over 1bn links every day, and that’s via Slack, Google Drive, and Microsoft Teams alone. Every time, these links are decoupled from whatever context has been established about the linked article or file. We lose track of the links’ history, quality, or validity. Endless searches through instant-messaging channels, as well as working on outdated or flawed files cost us more than 1bn€ per day.

At Reasonal, we rethink how information is attached to digital content. We create the sticky notes of the web and deliver them across teams and platforms. A combination of human annotations and machine learning, packaged into an intuitive tool, ensure that what you are reading is relevant, up to date, and reliable.

In our hands-on workshop, participants are given priority access to the beta version of the Reasonal Team platform. To keep it fun and engaging, we have prepared different tasks and picked an interactive format, where participants can choose their most relevant use case.

Please bring your own device. You can easily download a simple add-on or integration, and keep access after the workshop is over.

Our team is excited to assist you and discover how you can make use of the tech – which originates from years of research at several Max-Planck Institutes.

This is a hybrid event. Please register by 01.11.2020 at hello@reason.al and notice that the number of participants is limited to 15. There is no admission fee. Please bring your own laptop or device, as we will work hands-on with our technology, to which participants are given priority access.

Behzad Tabibian

Reasonal

CEO

Behzad is CEO/Co-Founder of Reasonal. He worked on his PhD from the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, where his research was published at top scientific journals, such as Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS). 

Behzad worked at leading technology companies such as Amazon and Facebook as a Machine Learning Scientist. 

He completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Edinburgh. 

Behzad now combines his experience in building and scaling innovative tech-products with his scientific background to grow Reasonal.

Natalie Tillack

Reasonal

Chief Commercial Officer

Natalie is the Chief Commercial Officer of Reasonal, and is managing the marketing, product, and commercial side of the company.

Natalie worked at McKinsey’s Berlin office, where she focused on growth, product, and marketing strategies in the digital space. In 2016, she obtained her PhD in Computational Physics at Oxford University.

As Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Scalewonder, and as mentor at Techstars, she works closely with tech startups to help them scale.

Utkarsh Upadyhay

Reasonal

CTO

Utkarsh is the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Reasonal. For his PhD in Machine Learning, he did his research at the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems, during which he worked as an Academic Research Program collaborator with Yahoo! Research.

Throughout his studies at IIT Kanpur and EPFL, Utkarsh’s research has focused on understanding information propagation on networks and he has published his research findings extensively in several leading peer-reviewed conferences and journals. As a software engineer, he helped scale a personalized automated teaching startup (Better AG, Zurich) from 0 to 100k+ users.

At Reasonal, he is using his understanding of social networks and machine learning to build smart Post-its for the Web
