How would you describe the main goal of your project in one sentence?
Through my startup Reperio, I want to give access to anyone, anywhere, to top-grade screening and diagnostic tools for vision impairment and neurodegenerative conditions.
What’s changed since your participation in Falling Walls Lab?
I officially started my company, successfully closed the first investment round, defended my PhD, and hired my first employees. Despite the global pandemic, it has been an incredible last year. Both tiring and rewarding.
How would you describe your research style in three words?
“Order within chaos”
What are your current goals to take your project to the next level?
I believe that before investing substantial time and money into developing new features, the foundations must be rock-solid.
Therefore, our goals are to make our application a full-fledged certified medical device, to strengthen our IP position, and to collect as much feedback as possible from doctors and patients.
