Scientists learn how to talk about their research findings in simplified story form that is easily understood and appreciated by non-scientists.

Breaking the Wall of Inaccessibility and Disinterest
Patricia is a science communicator who is fascinated by the question of behavioural change in communication. She was exposed to storytelling during a short fellowship at Cornell University in 2017 and a seed was sown. Patricia later founded Science Stories Africa – an initiative that trains scientists on the use of storytelling as communication tool. She also works with the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture as a science writer.
